‘Discotheque’ my debut album as Pierre III is now OUT ! Link on bio.

Where to start ? I consider each release a new chapter and this time I went electronic dance music. ‘Discotheque’ is my very own version of it.
I let my beloved guitar aside for a while and focused on rhythm, repetition, loops, four on the floor and the search for trance. The work title for the album was ‘body music’ by the way, quite evocative.
To me it’s a producer challenge, a game. We ‘play’ music but don’t get me wrong, I play very seriously. I’m not a content maker, I’m a musician.

You’ll hear many influences on the record from Chicago House to Daft Homework era, Talking Heads, ESG, Dee Wee galaxy or early 90’s Dance Music…
Club music for indie heads I guess.

Don’t want to sound self indulgent but I love this record very much and I loved doing it.
Music is about pleasure and pleasure is a success in itself.
